Project Roadmap

The project followed a structured, multi-phase approach — from initial data collection and system integration to continuous optimization and user feedback implementation. This allowed the team to thoroughly analyze, stabilize, and enhance every aspect of the HVAC platform.

Key phases included:

  • System Discovery & Stabilization
    We analyzed and reverse-engineered the platform architecture, identified bottlenecks and data inconsistencies, and stabilized core services to ensure reliable performance.
  • Infrastructure Modernization
    A significant part of the engagement was dedicated to establishing a scalable and maintainable technical foundation. We migrated from AWS to DoubleCloud, introduced Terraform for automated deployments, and structured staging and production environments to improve reliability and reduce operational risk.
  • Data Pipeline & Analytics Enablement
    To support accurate energy optimization, we implemented robust data pipelines for reliable data collection, developed logic to calculate baseline metrics, and integrated weather data via the OpenWeather API. This enabled analytics teams to generate accurate, actionable reports on energy savings and system performance.
  • Continuous Improvement
    We iterated based on user feedback and evolving business needs to further enhance system performance and usability.
