What you’ll own?
Client & Growth (primary focus)
- Lead the technical side of proposals, solution design, and early discovery calls with prospective clients;
- Build and sustain peer relationships with CTOs and VPs of Engineering at client and partner companies;
- Represent ORIL at US/Europe PropTech events and communities (RESO, RETTC, CREtech, Inman Connect, Blueprint);
- Drive the technical side of PropTech industry partnerships and integrations.
- Further develop PropTech company expertise
Engineering Organization
- Own our delivery tech stack: languages, tooling, QA, DevOps, engineering methodology;
- Define what expertise we need to hire, grow, and retain – and build the tech leadership bench (PDPs, mentorship, internal programs);
- Grow ORIL’s technical brand internally and within the engineering community (Lviv IT Cluster CTO community and similar).
What do we expect?
- 8+ years in engineering, with 3+ in a leadership role (CTO, VP Eng, Head of Engineering, Principal/Solution Architect, or founder of a technical team or similar);
- Demonstrated experience in client-facing technical work: pre-sales, solution design, discovery, or running your own client relationships;
- Possess strong, up-to-date technical knowledge to quickly evaluate complex architectures, identify structural flaws, and guide system design;
- Upper-Intermediate and higher English (B2) is required. You’ll be presenting, negotiating, and speaking publicly;
- Act as a strategic bridge across teams to ensure clear communication and alignment;
- Lead with technical credibility and sharp architectural judgment to earn respect, while cultivating a high-performing, mentorship-driven culture.
Strong plus
- PropTech, Real Estate, FinTech, IoT domain background;
- Valid US visa and prior US travel;
- Active in tech communities: speaking, writing, organizing, podcasting;
- Entrepreneurial track record – your own studio, agency, consulting practice, or a strong freelance profile;
- Current or recent CTO at a product or services company.
