Head of Business Development

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Business Development to lead our sales and marketing teams in exceeding our growth objectives. In this role, your success will be directly tied to ORIL’s success, requiring a strong sense of ownership and a strategic mindset.

You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to define ORIL’s goals and develop innovative strategies to achieve them. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on our company’s growth trajectory.

What do we expect?

Experience:

  • 7+ years of total sales experience at software development companies 
  • 3+ years in BD leadership positions at software development companies
  • Sales strategy development and its successful implementation
  • Managing, mentoring and leading sales & marketing departments
  • Contract negotiation, deal closure
  • Advanced (С1) English level (written and verbal)
  • Good/organic understanding of US culture and mentality
  • Excellent business communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience networking with prospects in person (e.g. participating in conferences, tech events, client visits and roadshows etc.)

Will be a plus:

  • Other experience in IT industry (e.g. as Account Manager, Tech background, PM, Engagement)
  • Industry Insight: Knowledge of or experience in the following industries: Real Estate, Construction, GreenTech, PropTech, FinTech, Transportation, and Automotive.

What will you do?

  • Sales Strategy Development. Define and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share. Identify new business opportunities, markets, and services to support long-term growth
  • Sales & marketing department management. Ensure that each department’s initiatives are clearly defined, accountability set and aligned with the company’s strategy
  • Lead Generation & Client Acquisition. Oversee lead generation efforts through various channels, including digital marketing, networking, and partnerships. Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to closing deals with potential clients.
  • Client Relationship Management. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Proposal Management. Oversee the preparation of proposals, RFPs, and presentations tailored to client requirements.
  • Contract Negotiation. Lead negotiations for client contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Collaboration with Delivery Teams. Align sales promises with delivery capabilities to maintain client trust.
